Programming in Java since 1996, I grok web applications. This deep understanding comes from implementing web servers, distributed application servers, object-relational db mapping tools, testing frameworks, and parsers.
Java isn't all I know, it's just what I prefer. I have also programmed in Assembler, pascal, C, C++, and VB.
The first computer I used (5th grade) was a TRS80. Having grown up a computer user and programmer, the number of applications and systems I have used is long. Of course most of them are obsolete now!
Most of the interesting stuff I do is out there... on the web. Here you
can find my Resume
and some of my early work (see the nav bar to the left).
Out on the internet I am the editor of the award winning website Junit.org.
I used to be a RecentChangesJunkie on Ward's Wiki.
And have done a bit of work on Jakarta's Ant (back before it went big time). I also blog and LJ.
I got involved with Extreme Programming and my life has never been the same (a few others haven't been the same either). What can I say, with Design Principles in Test Driven Design and
XP defining the Rules of the Game, writing software is but a dream.
